Entries are now open for The Kate Maher Cup, a speech competition run by the Phil in Trinity College for secondary school students who identify as women or as a gender minority.
Entries must be in the form of a video. The maximum video length accepted is 7 minutes. For Junior Cycle students, they expect speeches to be about 3 minutes, while for Senior Cycle students, they expect about 5 minutes. Only one entry per student is allowed.
All year groups can enter speeches under the general prompts category, and there is an additional specific question for Junior and Senior cycles.
The closing date for entry is 22nd February 2025.

Foxrock students have done very well in this competition before and we encourage anyone interested to submit an entry.
