Huge congratulations to our incredible U14 A Badminton Team, who have made history as National Champions! This marks the very first national title for the school—an achievement we are immensely proud of and one that will be remembered for years to come.
This outstanding team—Yilin Wu, Tanya Mohanty, Grace O’Callaghan, Yashvi Rajesh Kannan, Sarah O’Callaghan, and Darcey Lavin—have shown extraordinary dedication and determination throughout the year. Their hard work has paid off in spectacular fashion, securing a clean sweep of all three major titles: Dublin, Leinster, and now the National Championship.
Behind this success lies countless hours of training, commitment, and teamwork. The effort these girls have put in, alongside the guidance and support of their fantastic coach Ray, has been nothing short of inspiring—and they truly deserve every bit of their success and those gold medals.
We look forward to celebrating this remarkable achievement properly in school next term. From all the staff and students in Foxrock, a massive well done to an exceptional group of athletes!
