SCIFEST @ SCHOOL Exhibition

Congratulations to all the first and second year students who participated in the Scifest @ school exhibition today. A lot of work went into each project and the judges were very impressed with the enthusiasm and knowledge of all the students. Well done to the overall winners Hayden Kavanagh and Isabelle Lane for their project on ‘Bacterial Growth’. Overall runners up were Holly Synnott, Ana Dowling and Rachel Cunningham for their project on ‘Investigating pH’.  Other awards went to Christina Garon and Robyn Cogan (Eirgrid Cleaner Climate Award), Sandili Godara and Lucy Byrne (Mallinckrodt STEM excellence Award) and Maddie Brosnan, Sophie Tighe and Emma O’Callaghan (Scifest Award for Display). Sincere thanks to the judges for their time, the TY students for helping the students prepare for the judges interviews and all in our school community who helped make the Scifest exhibition such an enjoyable and educational experience.
