Jingle Bell Run 2025

We are delighted to once again announce our Loreto College Foxrock Jingle Bell Run 2025 will take place on Wednesday 17th of December.

All year groups will take place in a 5k run or walk for Loreto Aweil in South Sudan. A payment for each student will be in the shop section of the school app. 

This year we will have a competitive race open to all students which over 15 of our staff will take part in. Competitor’s will set off in the first wave of runners and there will be medals for the first 4 runners through the finish line. Each year group will then set off together to complete their 5k which starts at the school and goes up Westminster Road, though Foxrock Village and down past Whites Cross and along the N11 to the finish line in front of the school. 

After each year group is finished they will go to their tutor classroom for a class Christmas party, students are asked to bring in lots of goodies and treats that will be shared during your class party. Each year group will be dressed in Christmas Fancy Dress. The following is the list for fancy dress, we ask students to make an effort with their outfits which adds to the festive fun. 

1st Yr – Elves

2nd Yrs – Snowmen 

3rd Yrs – Christmas Trees 

TY – Christmas Jumpers 

5th Yrs – Reindeers

6th Yrs – Santas 

This is a wonderful school whole school tradition that we ask all students to support and fully engage with. Class tutors will talk more to their classes this week.
