As part of Readers & Writers Week, where our school community celebrates all things literary, our annual Fictional Friday will in fact be a Fictional Thursday due to the school closure that week, and will take place on October 22nd. This is a dress-up day where students and staff are invited to come to school as something or someone from their assigned booky theme.
Each year group has been assigned a specific theme, which you’ll find in the attached PDF, along with some costume suggestions and guidelines.
We look forward to seeing the creativity and enthusiasm that always makes this day such a highlight of the week!
Attached also is a PDF outlining the guest speakers visiting us throughout the week — we are thrilled to welcome such amazing authors and creatives to inspire and engage our students.
We will keep you posted on our other competitions and activities as they happen!Â
