As we come to the end of first year, our Home Economics students have been very busy using their sewing skills to produce a range of craft items. A fantastic variety of skills and talents were displayed. We encourage all students to continue developing these skills over the summer.
Using seasonal fruit, students also learned how to prepare, cook, and serve dishes such as apple and berry crumbles, smoothies, and bruschetta. We also made protein energy balls—an ideal snack for when you’re on the go during exams and over the summer holidays. Get a well deserved rest over the summer and hopefully you can revisit some of the skills learned over the past few months.
