Soccer success & Roisin Mc Govern Visit

Our soccer season has started and one Junior Team kicked it off with a win in extra time against a very strong Creagh College team. Two goals in normal time from Doireannn Cox and a goal in extra time by Pia Kraeft gave Foxrock the 3-2 win. Leagues for 1st yrs – juniors start next week.
Before we got our season started we had a visit from last pupil Roisin Mc Govern. Roisin is just back from America where she played college soccer and is now playing with Bohemians FC who got the the FAI Final this year. Roisin spoke to all our soccer players last week and spoke about her soccer journey from school to the FAI premier league. Roisin gave the girls lots of tips and advice ahead of their seasons.
