Established in 1941, Loreto College Foxrock is a fee-paying secondary school for girls, immersed in the Loreto tradition. Inspired by the vision of Mary Ward and the Loreto ethos, our mission is to nurture young women who are confident, compassionate, and committed to making a positive difference in the world. We encourage each student to develop their talents to the fullest, to be courageous in their learning, and to embrace the values of truth, justice, sincerity, freedom, and joy.
Central to our work is the well-being of our students. Strong support structures ensure that every student feels safe, valued, and encouraged throughout their educational journey. At the heart of the learning experience is our commitment to developing independent learners. In this way, students are challenged to achieve their best academically while being cared for as individuals.
Our dedicated staff work in partnership with parents and guardians to create a supportive environment where students flourish. Beyond the classroom, a rich programme of co-curricular activities provides opportunities for leadership, creativity, and personal growth.
Our strength as a school community lies in the partnerships we build. Our planning is greatly strengthened by the support and insight of the Board of Management. We also value the active involvement of parents and guardians, who work closely with us in supporting their daughters’ learning and growth. The Parents’ Association plays an important role in fostering strong connections within our community and enhancing the experience of students. Equally, the voice of our students is central to who we are. Through the Student Council, students provide vital leadership, representing their peers and contributing meaningfully to the ongoing development of school life.
Together with Deputy Principal Mr. Delahunty, our staff, students, families, and the wider Loreto community, we continue to ensure that Loreto College Foxrock thrives as a centre of excellence, inclusivity, and innovation in education.
