Honours for 1st & 2nd Year Students at Young Classicist Awards in UCD
Congratulations to Molly Andrews and Lexi Ryan (1st Year) and to Evelyn Roche (2nd Year) who won awards at yesterday's event in UCD.
Molly Andrews and Lexi Ryan (1st Year) were finalists in the Junior Competition for their project on 'Gender Norms and Fashion in the Ancient World'. Evelyn Roche in 2nd Year won a Bronze medal for the 'Ancient Languages Competition' for her rewriting of the lyrics of Abba's "Money, Money" to tell the life of a slave in Ancient Rome. Some of the lyrics were in Latin.
Well done girls - we're all very proud of you!!
