This time table will begin on Monday 14th.

You do not need to sign up to any activity you just turn up and get involved.

*Soccer will start on Thursday lunch time on the main hockey pitch.

*Chess will start on Friday 11th at 4 in E1

Results 2026

Congratulations to the Leaving Certificate class of 2026.We are incredibly proud of the achievements of each and every student.

Their results not only reflect their hard work and resilience but also place Loreto College Foxrock significantly above national averages across the full range of performance.

Our students’ CAO points profile demonstrates exceptional achievement:

13% achieved 600 points or more, compared with 4% nationally
24% achieved 550+ compared with 12% nationally
45% achieved 500+, compared with 22% nationally
65% achieved 450+, compared with 37% nationally
78% achieved 400+, compared with 51% nationally
91% achieved 350+, compared with 64% nationally
100% achieved 250+ compared with 84% nationally

These results show that Loreto College Foxrock students consistently outperform national norms at every points band, with far more students achieving high‑end results.

But while these statistics are outstanding, we want to emphasise something even more important:

Success means different things to different students.

We are proud of those who reached the very top of the points scale- including the two students who achieved the maximum 625 points – but we are equally proud of those who faced challenges, persevered, and achieved personal success through determination and growth.

Some students overcame illness, anxiety, learning difficulties, or difficult circumstances. Others found confidence, discovered new strengths, or simply kept going when things felt overwhelming. Every one of these achievements matters.

Every student’s journey is valued. Every result represents effort, courage, and progress. Every student has made us proud.

We would also like to thank all of the teachers and staff that have walked this road with our students. The countless house spent teaching, guiding, encouraging and believing made these achievements possible.

We wish every one of the class of 2026 success as they move on with confidence to the next phase of their journey.

Leaving Certificate Results Day 2026

To our Class of 2026, today marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of an exciting new one.

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you, not only for the results you receive today, but for all that you have achieved during your time at Loreto College Foxrock.

Whatever appears on the page today, remember that your results are just one part of your story. We have watched you grow, learn and contribute so much to our school community, and we know you will all go on to do amazing things.

Congratulations, Class of 2026. We are so proud of you and wish you every happiness and success in whatever comes next.

New Resource: Opportunities for Young Writers

With a little bit of summer left, why not look into new ways to showcase your talent? The library has compiled the attached guide to literary magazines, competitions, and publishing opportunities for young writers and artists.

If you enjoy writing poetry, stories, reviews, articles, or creative nonfiction, or creating art, this resource highlights a range of places where you can submit your work and develop your writing skills.

We encourage all our aspiring writers to explore the opportunities available and take the next step in sharing their work with a wider audience. We are behind you all the way and this guide will live here on the school website for future reference.

Celebrating Jessa’s Texaco Art Competition Success

We are delighted to share a further update on Jessa Jukic’s success in the Texaco Children’s Art Competition.

On Tuesday, May 27th, Jessa Jukic (2 Ward), accompanied by her family and her Visual Art teacher Ms Norton, attended the official awards ceremony at Druids Glen Hotel, where she received First Place in Category B (ages 14–15) for her stunning coloured-pencil portrait of her sister Jolié, titled I Want to Be Under the Sea.

It was a wonderful occasion celebrating young artistic talent, and we are delighted to share photographs from the day.

Congratulations once again to Jessa on this outstanding achievement — we are extremely proud of her.

TY Camino Update

We were delighted to receive some wonderful photos and updates from our TY students currently completing the Camino.

The girls are making fantastic progress and enjoying every step of this incredible journey together. From reaching important Camino markers to exploring beautiful historic locations, the students are creating memories that will last a lifetime.

It is lovely to see the friendships, teamwork, resilience and positivity shining through along the way.

A huge thank you to the staff accompanying the trip and to everyone sending updates back to the school community. We look forward to sharing more photos and news over the coming days.

Planting Seeds of Hope

1 Poyntz Religion class planted summer bulbs on Tuesday. We busily cleared out old beds, weeding, raking and preparing the ground for new life. We each planted a flower bulb in an organic container and dug a hole in the earth for it. It felt good to be outdoors. Our final task was to water the bulbs and wait for the sunshine to do it’s magic! We look forward to tending the flowers, our seeds of hope, over our time in Loreto Foxrock.

5th Year Italy Trip 2026

Earlier this year, some of our 5th Year students enjoyed an unforgettable trip to Italy, filled with history, culture, and memorable experiences. We thank both students for sharing their work and helping to preserve these wonderful memories.
