Loreto Foxrock has a strong tradition in schoolgirls hockey. Participation is open to all and it’s never too late to come out and join up.  Each year we field five teams (16 on a squad) in each of the 1st Year, Minor, Junior and Senior age groups.  Teams compete in Leinster and Inter Loreto competitions.  We cater for all levels of ability from the Senior Leinster Premier League side to 1st Year beginner teams.

Over the years Loreto Foxrock has had many players representing Leinster and Ireland at all age groups.  In 2017/18, we have three Irish U-18 players on our Senior A team and a Leinster U-16 interprovincial player on the Junior A team.

Teams have two practices a week and these take place at lunch or after school (4.15-6pm).  Our Senior A team also have an occasional early morning practice.  Games take place mainly on either Wednesday afternoons or Saturday mornings

Since 2017/18, Loreto Foxrock has employed a FIH International High performance Coach, Mr Brendon Carolan.  Mr Carolan is a former Irish Mens Assistant Coach and current Irish U-16 Coach. He is an outstanding asset to the hockey programme.
