This year's Transition Year got off to an active start to the 2020-2021 TY experience with a vigorous hike up Bray Head.
Today we hiked up Bray Head. This was our first of many TY outings. We learnt that Bray Head is a 241-metre-high hill located between Bray and Greystones. From the top, you can see beautiful panoramic views of the Wicklow Mountains and Dublin Bay. Here we enjoyed our lunch while taking in the breath-taking views. After this we continued hiking upwards to see the view from a different angle. We then learnt more about the vegetation and wildlife in the area. We had such an amazing time and we can’t wait for more exciting adventures!
Thanks to Hannah McDonald, Kate Fensom and Ciara Eyre for this article and photos, and to Ms Keogh for some photos.
